Teardown: beats 60W USB-C Fast Charging Braided Cable A3393
2026-10-15Beats is a headphone brand under Apple. It features stylish and trendy designs. With support from Apple's technology and supply chain, Beats has achieved increasingly competitive product quality. Therefore, if you do not prefer Apple's relatively plain design style, Beats will be an excellent alternative.
ChargerLAB has recently obtained a USB-C to USB-C braided fast charging cable launched by Beats. It delivers the same performance and is priced identically to Apple's 60W fast charging cable. However, this Beats cable reaches 1.5 meters in length and comes in four color options: Lightning Black, Surge Grey, Speed Blue and Turbo Red. Let’s take a closer look at its specific design and workmanship.

Disassembly Summary
This newly launched USB-C charging cable from Beats features USB 2.0 specification, with a cable length of approximately 1.5 meters and support for 60W charging power, capable of meeting the charging needs of laptops and mobile phones. As an earphone brand under Apple, Beats products are backed by Apple, so their quality is reliable. If you want a cable of the same standard but do not prefer Apple's white design style, this Beats cable is undoubtedly an excellent alternative.
Disassembly reveals that the connector of this data cable is fixed by injection molding, and the USB-C terminal is secured with a spot-welded steel sleeve to boost mechanical strength for better durability. The cable contains an internal shielding mesh and tensile threads, and Kevlar yarn is added inside the wire cores to enhance the overall strength of the cable. No E-Marker chip is used within the cable, so it only supports basic charging and USB 2.0 data transfer.
