The Native Union Active Magnetic Card Holder Stand is now available on Apple’s official website for mainland China. Compatible with MagSafe, it functions both as a card holder and a phone stand.
It is currently available in three color options: black, orange and sand, with an official price of 348 yuan. Compared with traditional magnetic card holders, the Native Union Active Magnetic Card Holder Stand features an added foldable stand structure.
Once the user unfolds the product, the phone can be placed either horizontally or vertically. It is suitable for scenarios such as watching videos, browsing web pages, making video calls and creating content, eliminating the need to carry an extra desktop stand.
The card holder can store up to four frequently used cards inside. A quick-access opening is designed on the back, through which users can push out cards to easily retrieve transit cards, bank cards or access control cards. Built with strong magnets, the product can be directly attached to the back of MagSafe-compatible iPhones or cases. It is also compatible with Native Union Active series cases and lanyards.
In terms of materials, this card holder stand is made of a durable, animal-free leather alternative containing recycled content. It maintains the tactile feel of leather while meeting daily durability requirements and environmental goals. Boasting an ultra-slim profile, the product measures approximately 10.5 × 6.6 × 1 cm and weighs around 75 grams. It can hold up to four cards while minimizing the burden of carrying it around.
For compatibility, the models listed on Apple’s official website cover the iPhone 12 to 17 series, along with the iPhone Air and iPhone 17e. Some cases without built-in magnetic structures need to be replaced with MagSafe-compatible cases for use.
Summary
The Native Union Active Magnetic Card Holder Stand combines card storage and phone stand functions into one accessory. It reduces the need for a separate wallet while supporting video viewing, calls, and impromptu work. With space for four cards, its storage capacity surpasses that of many common magnetic card holders. The stand, usable in both portrait and landscape orientations, further broadens the product’s application scenarios.
For iPhone users who regularly use MagSafe accessories and want to cut down on the number of items they carry, this product offers a more integrated carrying solution. That said, its 75-gram weight, together with four inserted cards, noticeably adds to the phone’s overall heft, requiring users to strike a balance between portability and functionality.
